2016 Impact Philanthropy - Now open

A great funding opportunity opened yesterday and runs until Friday 4th December. The 2016 Impact Philanthropy program is being run by Perpetual and applies to organisations with DGR status who are active in the environment/conservation field. Organisations can apply for one-off, 1 year grants up to $200,000. The average size of applications last year was $80,000. The success rate last year was around 17%. If you need support in submitting a competitive bid then Better State Environments can help. Bjarne K Dahl Trust - small grants program - opens today

Look outside your window, or look up from your smartphone or tablet. If you are in Australia chances are you can see a Eucalyptus tree, probably many. The Bjarne K Dahl Trust has today opened a new round of funding through its small grants program, which aims to support Eucalyptus-based conservation, education, and research. Eligible applicants can apply for up to $15,000 per project. Bjarne K Dahl was a Norwegian forester who fell in love with Eucalypts when working in Australia. So much so that when he died he devoted his considerable estate to them. What a guy!
